Serpula Lacrymans is dry rot, which is a wood destroying fungus as it feeds on the starch within the timber. It is a brown rot and is common all across the world.

If you have a dry rot problems, you will notice:

• Timber cracking in a cubic fashion
• Red rust like spores
• Mushroom like odour
• Grey-white strands in/on the timber
• White and fluffy mycelium appearing
• Yellowy-brown bracket with white margin
